Kenneth Hagen, Radiologic Technology Class of 2026 from Kennebec Valley Community College, and Kayla Moore, Radiologic Technology Class of 2026 from Kennebec Valley Community College, will represent Maine at the ASRT 2025 Student to Leadership Development Program {SLOP). The SLOP is a three-year program that offers students a chance to get to know the ASRT, attend educational sessions, and network with medical imaging and radiation therapy professionals. The SLOP is an excellent opportunity for radiography students to learn more about the ASRT and get involved with the profession at the state and regional level. Kenneth and Kayla will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to the 2025 ASRT Educational Symposium and Annual Governance and House of Delegates Meeting, June 19-22, in Reno, Nevada. In addition, Kenneth and Kayla will attend educational courses specifically designed for students, attend the House of Delegates meetings, and be assigned a mentor from the profession. Kenneth and Kayla are two of nearly 100 radiologic science students from around the country chosen to participate in the Student to Leadership Development Program. We are looking forward to them bringing back information to share with their classmates and with the MSRT membership.
